Editorial policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
How we choose, write, check and correct what we publish on this site: articles, case studies and service pages. It applies to everything we publish from 24 October 2026. We are checking older articles against it.
Who picks the topics
A person on our team picks every topic and writes a brief. The brief sets out the reader's question, our angle, the evidence we will use and the page on our site that the article supports. AI never picks topics.
How we use AI
- AI may help draft an article from the brief.
- A person edits the draft and checks it before it goes live. We don't publish AI output that no one has reviewed.
- Where AI helped in a material way, the article says so in a short "How we made this" note.
- AI is never used to invent quotes, client stories or figures.
How we check claims
- A named person checks every claim, number, title, description, structured-data field and image alt text before a page goes live.
- Every statistic links to its source. We prefer primary sources and our own measurements.
- Sources and figures are dated, so you can see how current they are.
Bylines
The byline names the person who wrote the article, or reads "Softechinfra Editorial, reviewed by" and the reviewer's name. We never put a team member's name on work they didn't write or review. Our people are on the team page.
Client work
We describe a project as our work only when it has a case study on our Work pages. We don't invent ratings, reviews or testimonials.
Dates
The published date is the day a page first went live. The updated date changes only when the content really changes.
Corrections
If you see a mistake, email contact@softechinfra.com with the page link and what is wrong. A person will check it. If we got it wrong, we correct the page and change its updated date.
No paid placements
- We don't accept payment for coverage, links or placement in our content, and we don't buy links.
- We don't publish "top 10" lists that rank us first. If a comparison includes us, we say so and show how we compared.
Links to sites connected to us
Some pages link to sites connected to Softechinfra, such as our technology partners TalkCaptain and TalkDrill, and our founder's personal site. We say what the connection is, link at most once per page and only where it helps the reader, and mark these links nofollow. We are applying this to older pages as we review them.
